Sevierville was the perfect blend of excitement and comfort—just what we needed for a fun, family-centered getaway. This 2023 trip was a family girls trip, and we drove from Columbus, Ohio, packed with snacks, playlists, and pure anticipation. By the time we pulled up to our 5 bed, 3 bath Airbnb cabin, nestled right near the Smoky Mountains, we already felt like we’d arrived at our own little escape.
Whether we were screaming on moonshine mountain coaster or kicking back in the hot tub at the cabin, Sevierville gave us memories, bonding, and non-stop fun in the perfect Southern mountain setting.

Country cooking at its finest. We came here for breakfast and left with full bellies and a basket of fresh apple fritters. It’s warm, welcoming, and tastes like tradition.

The thrill-seekers in the group got their lives on the roller coasters! From the Wild Eagle to the Lightning Rod, the rides were next level—but Dollywood also had live music, artisan shops, and mountain charm that even the non-riders enjoyed.
Sevier Air Trampoline Park
We laughed until we cried at this place. Foam pits, obstacle courses, wall-to-wall trampolines—it was the perfect mix of fun and fitness, and yes, a few of us wiped out (gracefully, of course).
Scenic Mountain Drive + Cabin Time
One day, we just cruised through the Smokies, stopping at overlooks, taking pics, and breathing in the mountain air. Then we headed back to our cabin, cooked dinner together, and had a family game night by the fireplace. Those are the moments that stick.

The Island at Pigeon Forge
We walked around The Island one evening—grabbed snacks, watched the lighted fountain show, and took in the festive atmosphere. The shops and music gave us the right amount of nightlife without feeling too wild.

After long days of activities, we poured up some wine (juice for the younger ones), got in the hot tub, and had those deep, late-night conversations that only happen on trips like this.
Movie Night & Sleepover Vibes
Our Airbnb had plenty of space, so we threw on pajamas, made popcorn, and turned the living room into our own little movie theater. The fact that we could stay under one roof made the trip even more special.
