Las Vegas: Birthday Lights, Big Energy

Vegas for my 2024 birthday? Say less. I wanted glitz, music, great food, and a weekend where sleep wasn't a priority—and that’s exactly what I got. The energy of Las Vegas hits different when you’re there to celebrate yourself. Everything feels louder, brighter, and just a little more magical when it’s your day.

And this year? The highlight was being at the MGM Grand the day before the Tank vs. Frank Martin fight and actually getting a picture with Frank Martin himself. That energy, that moment—it made my birthday feel like something out of a movie. The Strip was buzzing, and so was I.

🍽️ Best Places to Eat

  • Giada – The Cromwell
I started my birthday weekend with brunch here. The vibe was upscale but relaxed, and the lemon ricotta pancakes were next-level. The Strip views from the dining room made the whole meal feel elevated—literally and emotionally.

  • Yardbird Southern Table & Bar – The Venetian
This is where I got my soul food fix. Crispy chicken, fluffy biscuits, and sweet tea—Vegas style. The portion sizes were birthday-worthy on their own.

  • Hell’s Kitchen – Caesars Palace
I went all in with this one—lobster risotto, beef Wellington, and one of the best birthday desserts I’ve ever had. It felt like a celebration with every bite. Highly recommend booking this in advance.

🎰 Must-Do Activities

  • Fountains of Bellagio
Sounds basic? Maybe. But watching those water jets dance to music while the Strip glows behind you is a must. I went late at night after dinner, and it was the perfect moment to just pause.

  • Gondola Ride at The Venetian
A little touristy, but also super romantic—even solo. The ride felt like a small escape within all the chaos.

  • Fremont Street Experience
I wanted that raw, old-school Vegas feel—and I got it. Street performers, a zipline overhead, and music echoing off the buildings. It felt like a live block party.

  • Spa Day at Qua Baths & Spa – Caesars
I treated myself the morning after a long night out. Roman baths, steam rooms, and a massage that reset my entire soul.

🌃 Best Nightlife Spots

  • Drai’s Nightclub – The Cromwell
Hands down the highlight of the weekend. Rooftop club. Top-tier DJs. Dancers. The Strip lighting up beneath you while you're dancing to live music—it was that moment.

  • Chateau Rooftop – Paris Las Vegas
Another night, another rooftop. This one had Eiffel Tower vibes and a great crowd without being overwhelming. It felt like a party in the sky.

  • Magic Mike Live
A whole different type of birthday energy, but no regrets. I laughed, screamed, and lived my best birthday girl fantasy for two hours straight.

Vegas gave me what I needed: fun without apology. I left with sore feet, a full camera roll, and zero regrets. Between the rooftop parties, the spa vibes, and that unforgettable moment at the MGM with Frank Martin, this birthday hit different. I didn’t want peace—I wanted power. And Vegas? Delivered.
